Today while taking the dog for a walk this morning I noticed the entire back edge of the property where it meets with the park was covered with birds. Under closer scrutiny I could see that they were all Slate-colored Junco's. I brought Bud inside and retrieved my camera hoping for a few shots to share. After many attempts at approaching closely I was finely rewarded. Here are a few shots of two males.
